Elementary reading (4th–6th)

Private, respectful instruction for adults learning to read or rebuilding foundational skills—at a pace that feels safe and doable.

Executive-function supports, multi-sensory tools, and predictable routines that reduce anxiety and increase independence.

Who is reading tutoring for?
We tutor 4th–6th grade learners. We’re especially supportive of neurodivergent and twice-exceptional learners.
Do you teach phonics?
Yes—when it’s needed. We assess what’s missing and build a plan that may include phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension.
How long are sessions?
Session length varies by learner and goals. We’ll recommend a plan that supports progress without burnout.
Where do sessions happen?
Sessions are hosted through Flint Ridge Community and areas around Northeast Oklahoma (and nearby regions as scheduling allows).
What should we bring?
Any school reading materials, recent teacher notes if available, and a favorite book or topic. We’ll provide additional resources as needed.
